Anti-Phospho-SHIP, Poly, UC, 100µL

From STEMCELL Technologies, this polyclonal rabbit antibody recognizes the phosphorylated form of SHIP (SH2-containing inositol 5' phosphatase), a 145 kDa hematopoietic-restricted protein that acts as an important negative regulator of the PI3K pathway. The unconjugated reagent reacts with tyrosine-phosphorylated SHIP from human and mouse samples.

The immunogen is a phosphopeptide comprising residues surrounding the phosphorylated tyrosine (Y1020) of human SHIP. Verified applications include flow cytometry (FC), immunofluorescence microscopy (IF), and Western blotting (WB), with reported use in immunocytochemistry (ICC) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Suggested starting dilutions are 1 in 100 to 1 in 1000 for FC and IF; 5 µL in 500 µL of cell lysate from 1 x 10^6 cells for IP; and 1 in 2500 to 1 in 5000 for WB, with titration recommended for each application.

The antibody is provided in a phosphate-buffered solution (pH 7.4) containing 0.01% bovine serum albumin, 0.05% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol, and has been purified by affinity chromatography. It is stable at -20°C when stored undiluted.
