Anti-O4, 81, UC, 50µg

This unconjugated monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies targets the O4 oligodendrocyte lineage marker and is identified by clone 81. It is suitable for immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry applications to detect oligodendrocyte precursors and mature oligodendrocytes, and may also be used in western blot workflows after optimization. According to the manufacturer, O4 is expressed by pro-oligodendrocytes and the antibody may be used to detect oligodendrocytes in cell cultures of brains from mouse embryos as early as day 3.

For handling, the antibody should be stored at 2–8 °C for short-term use, or aliquoted and frozen for long-term storage. Researchers are advised to consult the product datasheet for recommended dilutions and blocking conditions.
