Anti-Ms TER119, TER-119, BT, 100µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this rat monoclonal antibody (clone TER-119) targets murine TER119 (Ly-76), an approximately 52 kDa protein associated with glycophorin A on the surface of cells of the erythroid lineage. The reagent is supplied in a biotin (BT) format and is intended for use in flow cytometry to identify and sort erythroid-lineage cells, with validated staining demonstrated on C57BL/6 mouse bone marrow cells.

The antibody is of the rat IgG2b, kappa isotype and is suitable for inclusion in immunomagnetic negative isolation workflows, such as the depletion of erythroid cells to obtain untouched mouse CD4+ T cells. For biotin-conjugated preparations, detection is typically carried out with a streptavidin secondary reagent, as illustrated in the manufacturer's flow cytometry data.

Recommended storage is at 2–8°C, protected from light, following standard antibody handling procedures. Users are advised to titrate the reagent for their instrument and to include appropriate isotype and fluorescence-minus-one (FMO) controls when designing erythroid identification and sorting experiments.
