Anti-Ms TCR Gamma/Delta, GL3, AZ, 100µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this laboratory reagent is an Anti-Mouse TCR Gamma/Delta Antibody, Clone GL3, conjugated to APC, intended for research applications in immunology. The GL3 clone reacts with the δ chain of the murine T cell receptor γ/δ, a heterodimer of disulfide-linked γ and δ subunits that associates with CD3 on the cell surface and is involved in recognizing peptide and lipid antigens.

The reagent is supplied as a clear liquid and is not classified as hazardous under the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) or as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). It is manufactured under an ISO 13485-certified quality management system, and STEMCELL Technologies states that its products are for research use only and not intended for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses unless otherwise stated.

GL3 recognizes an epitope in the constant region of the δ chain and can reportedly activate TCRγ/δ+ cells. The receptor is expressed on a subpopulation of T cells in the circulation but may be found on up to 50% of the T cells in epithelial cell-rich tissues, with most γ/δ T cells being CD4-/CD8-; these cells have been described as a link between the adaptive and innate immune responses. The antibody is tested for flow cytometry, with representative data generated on C57BL/6 mouse lymph node cells, often in combination with Anti-Mouse CD3e Antibody, Clone 145-2C11. The manufacturer recommends storing containers tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
