Anti-Ms Sca1, E13-161.7, FI, 500µg

This FITC-conjugated antibody from STEMCELL Technologies is a rat IgG2a, kappa monoclonal (clone E13-161.7) raised against mouse Sca1, also known as stem cell antigen-1 or Ly-6A/E. The antibody recognizes an 18 kDa GPI-linked protein of the lymphocyte activation protein-6 (Ly-6) family, expressed on hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, myeloid cells, and peripheral B and T lymphocytes. Sca1 is detected on mouse strains of both Ly-6.1 and Ly-6.2 allotypes, with expression strongly upregulated upon cellular activation in all strains.

The reagent is purified by affinity chromatography and supplied in phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide, free of unconjugated FITC. It is verified for flow cytometry (FC, FACS) and is also reported for cell isolation and immunofluorescence applications. The suggested use for flow cytometry is ≤ 1 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL, with titration recommended for optimal performance in each application. The product should be stored at 2 - 8°C undiluted, protected from prolonged exposure to light and not frozen.
