Anti-Ms Sca1, E13-161.7, 500µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, clone E13-161.7 is a rat monoclonal antibody that recognizes mouse Sca1 (Stem Cell Antigen-1 or Ly-6A/E), an 18 kDa GPI-linked protein belonging to the lymphocyte activation protein-6 (Ly-6) family. Sca1 is expressed on the surface of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells, myeloid cells, and peripheral B and T lymphocytes, and expression levels are strongly upregulated upon cellular activation. The antigen is involved in the regulation of T and B cell responses and is believed to play roles in the differentiation, proliferation, and survival of a variety of stem cells, making it a widely used phenotypic marker for identifying and isolating hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells.

Used for cell isolation, flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence, this unconjugated format has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits. Related conjugated formats include Alexa Fluor® 488, APC, biotin, FITC, and PE. Flow cytometry analyses demonstrate labeling of C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes and bone marrow cells. The host species is rat and the isotype is IgG2a, kappa.
