Anti-Ms NK1.1 (CD161), PK136, BT, 25µg

A biotin-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG2a, kappa antibody (clone PK136) from STEMCELL Technologies, raised against mouse NK1.1 (CD161) — an approximately 80 kDa homodimeric type 2 transmembrane glycoprotein and C-type lectin receptor expressed on NK cells, NK-T cells, and rare subsets of T cells and monocytes in select mouse strains. NK1.1 has functional roles in modulating NK cell activation and proliferation, induction of interferon-γ production, and release of cytotoxic granules, with cell-surface expression specifically upregulated by IL-12. Verified applications include cell separation and flow cytometry; reported applications include immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry. The antibody has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated from NK1.1+ mouse strains including C57BL/6, FVB/N, NZB, Swiss NIH, and SJL using EasySep™ kits. For NK cell detection in NK1.1-negative strains, the manufacturer recommends the Anti-Mouse CD49b Antibody, Clone DX5.

The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and is free of unconjugated biotin, supplied in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.25 μg per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 μL, with titration recommended for optimal performance. The product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted and should not be frozen; it remains stable until the expiry date on the label. The product is intended for research use only.
