Anti-Ms MHC ClassII,M5/114.15.2,PE,25µg

This PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody, supplied by STEMCELL Technologies, is a rat (BN x LEW) IgG2b (kappa) reagent that recognizes an extracellular epitope on the mouse major histocompatibility complex class II receptor (MHC-II). Clone M5/114.15.2 binds a polymorphic determinant shared by the I-Ab, I-Ad, I-Aq, I-Ed, and I-Ek alloantigens, and is reactive with B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, monocytes, and activated T cells from mice carrying the H-2b, d, p, q, r, and u haplotypes (but not H-2f or H-2s). The clone does not react with cells from NOD (H-2g7) mice.

The antibody is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline at pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin, and was purified by affinity chromatography prior to conjugation with phycoerythrin; the solution is reported free of unconjugated PE. It has been verified for flow cytometry (FC) and is reported in the literature for FC, immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western blotting (WB), immunocytochemistry (ICC), immunoprecipitation (IP), functional assay (FA), radioimmunoassay (RIA), and ELISpot/Blocking applications, and is also validated for purity assessments of cells isolated with the EasySep™ Mouse CD11c Positive Selection Kit II. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.06 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL.

The product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and must be protected from prolonged exposure to light. According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, the product is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under GHS or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), and the product itself is described as a clear liquid.
