Anti-Ms MHC ClassII,M5/114.15.2,PE,100µg

A PE-conjugated rat monoclonal IgG2b antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, clone M5/114.15.2 (M5/114), is directed against mouse major histocompatibility complex class II (MHC-II; I-A/I-E). The antibody recognizes a polymorphic extracellular epitope on the heterodimeric MHC-II receptor, reacting with the I-Ab, I-Ad, I-Aq, I-Ed, and I-Ek alloantigens (but not I-Af, I-Ak or I-As) expressed on B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, monocytes and activated T cells of mice carrying the H-2b, d, p, q, r and u haplotypes (but not H-2f or H-2s). It does not react with cells from NOD (H-2g7) mice.

The reagent was raised in Rat (BN x LEW) hosts using a mixture of activated C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes and anti-irradiated BN rat lymphoma-derived lymphocytes as immunogen. It is supplied in phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin, and was purified by affinity chromatography before PE conjugation; the solution is free of unconjugated PE.

Flow cytometry (FC) is both the verified and reported application, and the clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ Mouse CD11c Positive Selection Kit II. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.06 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL; titration is recommended for optimal performance. The product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
