Anti-Ms Ly-6G, 1A8, PE, 50µg

This rat monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies specifically targets mouse Ly-6G, a 21–25 kDa GPI-anchored protein that, together with the structurally related Ly-6C, comprises the granulocyte receptor-1 antigen (Gr-1). Clone 1A8 binds selectively to Ly-6G, distinguishing it from clone RB6-8C5, which reacts with both Ly-6G and Ly-6C. Gr-1 is expressed on monocytes, neutrophils, and subsets of macrophages, plasmacytoid dendritic cells, and T cells, making this antibody a useful marker for neutrophils in peripheral tissues.

The antibody is of the IgG2a, kappa isotype and is conjugated to R-phycoerythrin (PE). It was purified by affinity chromatography and is supplied free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide. It was raised in a Rat (LEW) host using a Mouse Ly-6G transfected EL-4J cell line as the immunogen.

Clone 1A8 has been verified for flow cytometry and is suitable for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including workflows for neutrophil enrichment. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤0.25 μg per 1 × 10⁶ cells in a 100 μL volume, with titration recommended for optimal performance in each application.
