Anti-Ms Ly-6G, 1A8, PE, 200µg

This rat monoclonal IgG2a, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, clone 1A8, specifically targets mouse Ly-6G, a 21 - 25 kDa GPI-anchored protein that together with Ly-6C comprises the granulocyte receptor-1 antigen (Gr-1). The antibody was raised against a mouse Ly-6G transfected EL-4J cell line and is conjugated with PE. It binds specifically to Ly-6G, distinguishing it from the commonly used clone RB6-8C5, which also recognizes Ly-6C.

Gr-1 is expressed on monocytes, neutrophils and subsets of macrophages, plasmacytoid dendritic cells and T cells, making Ly-6G a useful marker for neutrophils in peripheral blood. The antibody has been verified for flow cytometry and for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Mouse Neutrophil Enrichment Kit.

The reagent is supplied as a clear liquid in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide. It has been purified by affinity chromatography and is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤0.25 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume, and titration is recommended for optimal performance.
