Anti-Ms Gr-1, RB6-8C5, 100µg

The RB6-8C5 clone antibody, offered by STEMCELL Technologies, is a rat monoclonal IgG2b kappa antibody that recognizes the murine granulocyte receptor-1 antigen (Gr-1). Gr-1 comprises the structurally related GPI-anchored proteins Ly-6G (21-25 kDa) and Ly-6C (14-16 kDa). It is expressed on monocytes, neutrophils, subsets of macrophages, plasmacytoid dendritic cells, and T cells, with expression levels strongly correlated with granulocyte differentiation and maturation. In the periphery, Gr-1 is found predominantly on neutrophils and serves as a useful marker for these cells.

Whereas the 1A8 clone binds specifically to Ly-6G, the RB6-8C5 clone binds both Ly-6G and Ly-6C, and additionally recognizes Ly-6C-expressing lymphocytes, monocytes, and dendritic cells. The antibody has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep kits. It is suitable for immunoprecipitation (IP), cell isolation, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry, and flow cytometry (FC). Flow cytometry performance has been demonstrated using C57BL/6 mouse bone marrow cells with multiple conjugations (Alexa Fluor 488, Biotin, PE, Unconjugated, APC, FITC, and PerCP-Cy5.5) and using C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes (gated on granulocytes) with PerCP-Cy5.5 conjugation.

It supports research workflows including immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse neutrophils, as well as immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse stem and progenitor cells.
