Anti-Ms F4/80, BM8, AZ, 100µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this rat IgG2a, kappa antibody (clone BM8) targets the F4/80 antigen, an approximately 160 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein of the EGF-TM7 family of G-protein-coupled receptors. F4/80 is widely used as a marker of mature tissue macrophages and is broadly but variably expressed in the liver (Kupffer cells), skin (Langerhans cells), bone marrow stroma, pancreas, thymus, spleen red pulp, and lung. It is also expressed by circulating monocytes, eosinophils, and a subset of dendritic cells, with expression levels increasing upon macrophage activation. The clone is suitable for cell isolation and flow cytometry and has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep kits. The antibody reacts with human and mouse and is available conjugated to Alexa Fluor 488, APC, biotin, FITC, PE, or PerCP-Cy5.5, as well as in an unconjugated format. Documented applications include cell isolation, ELISA, flow cytometry, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot.
