Anti-Ms E-Cadherin, DECMA-1, UC, 25µg

A laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, this monoclonal antibody (Clone DECMA-1) is directed against E-cadherin, also known as CD324. According to the manufacturer, E-cadherin is a calcium-dependent transmembrane glycoprotein expressed in most epithelial cells and in erythroid cells. The manufacturer has demonstrated use of the antibody in immunofluorescence labeling of primary human airway epithelial cells, where detection was carried out with a donkey anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488 and counterstained with DAPI, and in flow cytometry analysis of MDCK epithelial cells using an anti-rat IgG1 PE-conjugated secondary.

Per the supplier's Safety Data Sheet, the product is supplied as a clear liquid and is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200). It is recommended for use as a laboratory reagent, with handling in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice and storage in accordance with the Product Information Sheet. No special protective equipment is required under normal use conditions, and the product is not regulated under DOT, TDG, IATA, or IMDG transport classifications.
