Anti-Ms CD90.2, 53-2.1, AZ, 25µg

The STEMCELL Technologies Anti-Mouse CD90.2 monoclonal antibody (clone 53-2.1) is supplied in an azide-free format at 25 µg per vial, supporting workflows where sodium azide preservatives would interfere with downstream applications. Clone 53-2.1 specifically recognizes the Thy-1.2 alloantigen, a GPI-anchored glycoprotein expressed on thymocytes, peripheral T lymphocytes, neurons, and hematopoietic stem cells in compatible mouse strains.

Recommended uses include flow cytometry for immunophenotyping lymphocyte subsets, immunofluorescence staining of tissue sections, and immunohistochemistry on frozen or fixed samples. The rat IgG2a, kappa isotype provides flexible secondary detection, and the azide-free formulation makes this reagent suitable for live-cell staining, in vivo administration, or direct conjugation to fluorophores and enzymes.

Each vial contains 25 µg of purified antibody. Refrigerate upon arrival and protect from light to preserve binding activity; for extended storage, aliquot and freeze while avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles. The product is intended for research use only.
