Anti-Ms CD8a, 53-6.7, 500µg

Purified monoclonal antibody reagent from STEMCELL Technologies targeting the mouse CD8a surface marker, supplied at 500 µg per vial. Clone 53-6.7 is a widely cited rat IgG2a, kappa isotype antibody that binds the Ly-2 (CD8α) co-receptor expressed on cytotoxic T lymphocytes and a subset of dendritic cells, enabling clear discrimination of CD8+ populations without significant cross-reactivity with mouse CD8b or unrelated leukocyte antigens.

Researchers routinely apply this reagent in flow cytometry to phenotype splenocytes, lymph node cells, and tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes. It is also validated for immunohistochemistry on frozen tissue sections and for western blot detection of the 32-34 kDa CD8α chain.
