Anti-Ms CD62L, MEL-14, UC, 500µg

This antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, clone MEL-14, reacts with murine CD62L (L-Selectin or LECAM-1), an ~74 - 95 kDa type I glycoprotein expressed on the surface of a majority of leukocytes. CD62L mediates leukocyte–endothelial cell interactions through association with ligands including CD34, glyCAM-1, MAdCAM-1 and PSGL-1, and facilitates lymphocyte rolling on the vascular endothelium, lymphocyte trafficking to lymph nodes, and homing of lymphocytes and neutrophils to sites of inflammation. Murine CD62L is expressed on most thymocytes, with the highest expression on subsets of immunocompetent or dividing progenitor cells, as well as on neutrophils, eosinophils, monocytes, and subsets of B, T and NK cells. The antibody may be used with other cell surface markers to distinguish naïve, memory and effector T cells, and has been shown to block migration of lymphocytes to lymph nodes and inhibit leukocyte rolling.

The rat IgG2a, kappa antibody has been verified for purity assessment of neutrophils and monocytes and is available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, APC, biotin, FITC, PE and PerCP-Cy5.5, as well as in unconjugated format. It is validated for flow cytometry with demonstrated data on C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes, and is also indicated for CyTOF, functional assays, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry and immunoprecipitation. The antibody is featured in workflows for immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse naïve CD4+ T cells, untouched mouse pan-naïve T cells (CD3+CD44-/lowCD62Lhigh), and untouched mouse naïve CD8+ T cells, and is used in combination with the EasySep™ Mouse Naïve CD4+ T Cell Isolation Kit.
