Anti-Ms CD62L, MEL-14, AD, 25µg

This Alexa Fluor® 488-conjugated monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies is a rat IgG2a, kappa reagent (clone MEL-14) directed against mouse CD62L (L-selectin), an approximately 74–95 kDa single-chain type I glycoprotein expressed on the surface of a majority of leukocytes. CD62L is a member of the selectin protein family that mediates leukocyte–endothelial cell interactions, facilitates lymphocyte rolling on the vascular endothelium, and supports trafficking of lymphocytes to lymph nodes as well as homing of lymphocytes and neutrophils to sites of inflammation.

The reagent is supplied as a clear liquid in a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, and was purified by affinity chromatography prior to conjugation. It is verified for flow cytometry (FC), with a suggested use of ≤ 0.25 µg per 1 × 10⁶ cells in 100 µL, and titratable for optimal performance in each application. It has been used to assess the purity of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including those targeting naïve CD4+ T cells, pan-naïve T cells, and naïve CD8+ T cells, and supports the distinction of naïve, memory, and effector T cell subsets based on CD62L expression levels.

According to the manufacturer's product information, the product is stable when stored undiluted at 2–8°C; it should not be frozen and must be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
