Anti-Ms CD45R, RA3-6B2, PE, 100µg

This rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody from STEMCELL Technologies targets CD45R, also known as B220 (Protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C, PTPRC), and is conjugated with PE (Phycoerythrin). Designated as clone RA3-6B2, the antibody reacts with an epitope on the extracellular domain of the exon A‐restricted isoform of mouse CD45. CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and functions in cell activation, growth, differentiation, and oncogenic transformation. Alternative splicing of exons encoding the extracellular RA, RB, and RC polypeptide sequences gives rise to up to eight isoforms with molecular masses in the range of 200–220 kDa; the exon A‐restricted isoform CD45R is the largest and contains the RA, RB, and RC regions.

It demonstrates reactivity with human, mouse, and cat samples and is produced from the rat IgG2a, kappa isotype using an immunogen of Abelson murine leukemia virus‐induced pre‐B tumor cells. Verified applications include cell separation (CellSep) and flow cytometry (FC), and the clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Mouse B Cell Isolation Kit. According to the manufacturer's directions, for flow cytometry the suggested use is ≤ 0.5 µg per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 µL, with titration recommended for optimal performance for each application. CD45R is expressed by the B cell lineage from early pro‐B to mature B cells, with expression downregulated during differentiation to plasma cells, and is also found on subsets of T, NK, dendritic, and lymphokine‐activated killer (LAK) cells.

The product is formulated in phosphate‐buffered saline, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin. The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions, and the solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. For storage, the product is stable at 2–8 °C when stored undiluted, should not be frozen, and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. Per the safety data sheet, the preparation is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS), presents as a clear liquid, and is not regulated for transport under DOT, TDG, IATA, IMDG, or related frameworks; it is intended for research use only.
