Anti-Ms CD45R, RA3-6B2, PB, 100µg

This Pacific Blue™-conjugated monoclonal antibody, clone RA3-6B2 from STEMCELL Technologies, reacts with an epitope on the extracellular domain of the exon A-restricted isoform of mouse CD45. The rat IgG2a antibody has been verified for flow cytometry analysis of C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes and for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including workflows for the immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse B cells.

CD45 is a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family and is involved in cell activation, growth, differentiation, and oncogenic transformation. The cytoplasmic portion contains two tyrosine phosphatase domains, one enzymatically active, that modulate Src kinases such as Lck and Fyn. CD45R, the exon A-restricted isoform of mouse CD45, contains the RA, RB, and RC regions and is the largest isoform, with molecular masses in the range of 200 - 220 kDa. CD45R is expressed by the B cell lineage from early pro-B to mature B cells, with expression downregulated during differentiation to plasma cells, and is also expressed on subsets of T, NK, dendritic, and lymphokine-activated killer (LAK) cells. Reactivity has been confirmed with human, mouse, and feline samples. The product is supplied as a clear liquid and should be stored at 2 - 8°C.
