Anti-Ms CD45R, RA3-6B2, BT, 25µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers a biotin-conjugated rat monoclonal antibody against mouse CD45R (B220), raised in the RA3-6B2 clone. The antibody recognizes an epitope on the extracellular domain of the exon A-restricted isoform of mouse CD45, a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase family involved in cell activation, growth, differentiation, and oncogenic transformation. Alternative splicing of the RA, RB and RC exons gives rise to up to 8 isoforms with molecular masses in the range of 200–220 kDa; the exon A-restricted isoform (CD45R) contains the RA, RB and RC regions and is the largest, expressed by the B cell lineage from early pro-B to mature B cells and downregulated during differentiation to plasma cells, and also on subsets of T, NK, dendritic and lymphokine-activated killer cells.

The antibody reacts with human, mouse and cat. It has been verified for flow cytometry and reported for use in immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry, and this clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep kits, including the EasySep Mouse B Cell Isolation Kit. It is supplied in phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions, and is free of unconjugated biotin and unconjugated antibody. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤0.06 µg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 µL, with titration recommended for optimal performance in each application. The product is stable at 2–8 °C when stored undiluted, should not be frozen, and remains stable until the expiry date on the label.
