Anti-Ms CD45.2, 104, BT, 500µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers this biotin-conjugated mouse monoclonal antibody (Clone 104, IgG2a, kappa isotype) raised in Mouse (SJL) against B10.S mouse thymocytes and splenocytes. It specifically recognizes mouse CD45.2, also known as Ly5.2 or Leukocyte Common Antigen, and is also called B220, CD45 antigen, CD45R, GP180, Protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type C (Ptprc), or T200. The antibody reacts with the CD45.2 alloantigen expressed by hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets in mouse strains including A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, and 129, and does not react with leukocytes that express the CD45.1 alloantigen.

CD45.2 is an allelic form of CD45, a 180 - 240 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family containing two catalytic domains in the intracellular (COOH) region that regulate cellular signaling. Clone 104 has been used extensively in adoptive cell transfer and bone marrow transplantation studies in mice, allowing differentiation of CD45.2- and CD45.1-expressing cells.

The product is formulated as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide, purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with biotin under optimal conditions; the solution is free of unconjugated biotin. The verified application is flow cytometry, with a suggested use of ≤ 0.25 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume, and titration is recommended for optimal performance. It is stable at 2 - 8°C when stored undiluted and should not be frozen.
