Anti-Ms CD45.2, 104, BT, 50µg

A biotin-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, Clone 104, targets the mouse alloantigen CD45.2 (also known as Ly5.2 and leukocyte common antigen). The clone reacts with CD45.2 expressed by all hematopoietic cells except mature erythrocytes and platelets in mouse strains including A, AKR, BALB/c, CBA/Ca, CBA/J, C3H/He, C57BL, C57BR, C57L, C58, DBA/1, DBA/2, NZB, SWR, and 129, and does not react with leukocytes expressing the CD45.1 alloantigen.

CD45.2 is an allelic form of CD45, described as a 180–240 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein and a member of the protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) family. Clone 104 has been used in adoptive cell transfer and bone marrow transplantation studies in mice to differentiate CD45.2- and CD45.1-expressing cells. The antibody is supplied in phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, has been purified by affinity chromatography, and is free of unconjugated biotin. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.25 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume, and titration is recommended for optimal performance in each application.

The product is stable at 2 – 8°C when stored undiluted and should not be frozen. It is intended for research use only and not for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses unless otherwise stated.
