Anti-Ms CD44, IM7, PS, 100µg

This laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies is a rat monoclonal antibody, Clone IM7, directed against CD44 (Ly-24), an approximately 80–95 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein involved in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions. The antibody reacts with an extracellular epitope found on all isoforms of CD44 and both murine allotypes, and binds ligands including hyaluronic acid, collagen, fibronectin, growth factors, and metalloproteinases.

CD44 is expressed on leukocytes, hepatocytes, endothelial, epithelial, and mesenchymal cells, with expression levels increasing upon T- and B-cell activation; memory cells exhibit a CD44-high phenotype. The IM7 clone is used in cell isolation and ELISA, and has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Mouse CD4+ T Cell Enrichment Kit. The antibody is of the IgG2b, kappa isotype.

According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, the product is supplied as a clear liquid and is not classified as hazardous under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200).
