Anti-Ms CD44, IM7, FI, 500µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers a FITC-conjugated anti-mouse CD44 antibody, clone IM7, designed for use as a laboratory reagent in flow cytometry, ELISA, and cell isolation workflows. The manufacturer identifies CD44 (Ly-24) as a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions.

This clone is a rat monoclonal IgG2b, kappa antibody, and the manufacturer has demonstrated it by flow cytometry analysis of C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes. According to the safety data sheet, the product is supplied as a clear liquid and is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200).

Research applications supported with this antibody include culture of human mammospheres and tumorspheres, immunomagnetic negative selection followed by positive selection of mouse naïve CD4+ T cells from single-cell suspensions of mouse splenocytes or other tissues, and immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse naïve CD4+ T cells.
