Anti-Ms CD44, IM7, AZ, 100µg

A laboratory reagent from STEMCELL Technologies, this antibody is the APC-conjugated format of the rat monoclonal IM7 clone raised against mouse CD44. Clone IM7 reacts with CD44 (Ly-24), an approximately 80 - 95 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on many cell types including leukocytes, hepatocytes, endothelial, epithelial and mesenchymal cells. Expression increases upon activation of T and B cells, and memory cells display a CD44-high phenotype. CD44 binds ligands such as hyaluronic acid, collagen, fibronectin, growth factors and metalloproteinases, and is involved in lymphocyte activation, recirculation and homing, leukocyte rolling and aggregation, hematopoiesis, and tumor metastasis.

The IM7 clone recognizes an extracellular epitope shared by all CD44 isoforms and both murine allotypes, and has been verified for purity assessment of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits. The antibody is of rat IgG2b, kappa isotype and is supplied as a clear liquid. It is intended for research use only and is not intended for human or animal diagnostic or therapeutic uses unless otherwise stated.

Documented applications include cell isolation, CyTOF, ELISA, flow cytometry, functional assays, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry and immunoprecipitation. The antibody has been tested for reactivity across species including baboon, cat, chimpanzee, cow, cynomolgus monkey, dog, horse, human, mouse, pig, rhesus monkey and squirrel monkey.
