Anti-Ms CD43, R2/60, BT, 500µg

This biotin-conjugated monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies targets the mouse CD43 surface marker, a heavily sialylated transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on thymocytes, mature T lymphocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, and a subset of B cells. The reagent is the R2/60 clone, provided at 500 µg per vial and conjugated to biotin for direct detection by streptavidin in multicolor immunophenotyping panels.

Clone R2/60 is widely cited in flow cytometry studies of murine lymphocyte development, thymic maturation, and bone marrow hematopoietic progenitor analysis, where CD43 expression helps discriminate T-lineage progenitors from B-lineage precursors. The antibody is specific to mouse CD43 and is validated as a primary reagent on freshly isolated splenocytes and thymocytes.

The biotinylated format enables flexible pairing with streptavidin-fluorophore conjugates, magnetic streptavidin microbeads for positive cell selection, or alkaline phosphatase-conjugated streptavidin for immunohistochemistry on frozen tissue sections. For best results, titrate each lot against a positive control before scaling into multi-color panels.
