Anti-Ms CD4, RM4-4, PE, 50µg

The PE-conjugated Anti-Mouse CD4 Antibody, Clone RM4-4 from STEMCELL Technologies is a rat monoclonal reagent targeting mouse CD4. CD4 is described as an ~55 kDa single-chain type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the immunoglobulin (Ig) superfamily, containing four extracellular Ig-like domains. CD4 is expressed at relatively high levels by most thymocytes and a subpopulation of T cells (T-helper/inducer cells), and at lower levels by dendritic cells; in the mouse, CD4 is not expressed by monocytes/macrophages.

Clone RM4-4 is verified for flow cytometry and has been used to label C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes in flow cytometry analysis. The antibody is of rat IgG2b, kappa isotype, and its binding does not block binding of antibody clones RM4-5 or GK1.5. The reagent supports research applications including flow cytometry and functional assays, and is listed as part of workflows for immunomagnetic positive selection of mouse CD4+ cells and immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse CD4+ T cells.

According to the safety data sheet, the product appears as a clear liquid and is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS). It is not regulated for transport by DOT, TDG, MEX, ICAO (air), IATA, IMDG, RID, ADR, or ADN.
