Anti-Ms CD3e, 145-2C11, PE, 50µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody (clone 145-2C11) is a hamster (Armenian) IgG1, kappa reagent specific for the ~20 kDa CD3 ε (CD3e) subunit of the mouse T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex. The target is expressed on circulating mature T cells and NKT cells, variably on thymocytes, and on a majority of T cell neoplasms. The antibody has been used in vitro for functional blocking and activation assays and has been reported to block binding by the clone 17A2 antibody; it is not recommended for use on formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections. Verified applications include cell separation (CellSep) and flow cytometry (FC), with FACS and FC reported in the literature. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.25 µg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 µL, and titration is recommended for optimal performance in each application. The product is supplied in a phosphate-buffered solution (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide and was purified by affinity chromatography prior to PE conjugation under optimal conditions; the solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. It is stable at 2–8°C when stored undiluted; do not freeze and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
