Anti-Ms CD3e, 145-2C11, FI, 50µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this FITC-conjugated monoclonal antibody is produced in Armenian hamster and is specific for the CD3 ε subunit of the mouse T cell receptor (TCR)/CD3 complex. Clone 145-2C11 reacts with the ~20 kDa CD3 ε subunit expressed on the surface of circulating mature T cells and NKT cells, and variably on thymocytes, and is also expressed by a majority of T cell neoplasms.

The antibody has been used for in vitro functional blocking and activation assays and has been reported to block binding by the clone 17A2 antibody. It is not recommended for use with formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections. Flow cytometry is a verified application, and the antibody has been reported in the literature for use in FACS, ICC, and IF. Clone 145-2C11 has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Mouse T Cell Isolation Kit and the EasySep™ Mouse CD90.2 Positive Selection Kit II. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 1 µg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 µL, with titration recommended for optimal performance in each application.

The reagent is supplied as a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide, purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with FITC under optimal conditions; the solution is free of unconjugated FITC. The product is stable when stored undiluted at 2 - 8 °C; do not freeze, and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
