Anti-Ms CD19, 6D5, PE, 50µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers this monoclonal antibody targeting CD19, an approximately 95 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of B cells throughout all stages of development, from early pre-B cells to plasma cells. Clone 6D5 is a rat IgG2a, kappa antibody that recognizes the same epitope as clone 1D3 in cross-competition assays. According to the manufacturer, the antibody has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Mouse B Cell Isolation Kit.

The reagent is supplied as a clear liquid and is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS) or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard. It is intended for laboratory research use, with primary applications including flow cytometry and cell isolation, and it is also listed for CyTOF, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot. Multiple conjugations are available from the supplier, including PE, Alexa Fluor® 488, APC, FITC, biotin, Pacific Blue™, and unconjugated formats.

The product supports immunology research workflows, including the immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse pan-B (CD19+, CD19+CD138+, CD138+) cells. By associating with CD21 and CD81, CD19 functions as a co-receptor for the B cell receptor and is involved in B cell activation and differentiation; mutations in CD19 can result in severe immunodeficiency syndromes.
