Anti-Ms CD19, 6D5, BT, 500µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers an Anti-Mouse CD19 Antibody, Clone 6D5, a rat monoclonal antibody that recognizes CD19, an approximately 95 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of B cells throughout all stages of development, from early pre-B cells to plasma cells. CD19 expression is down-regulated but persists in terminally differentiated plasma cells, and the antigen is also found on follicular dendritic cells. By associating with CD21 and CD81, CD19 functions as a co-receptor for the B cell receptor and is involved in B cell activation and differentiation, with mutations in CD19 linked to severe immunodeficiency syndromes.

The 6D5 clone recognizes the same epitope as clone ID3 in cross-competition assays and has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Mouse B Cell Isolation Kit. It is a rat IgG2a, kappa isotype antibody suitable for cell isolation and flow cytometry applications.

This antibody is offered in multiple conjugate formats, including Alexa Fluor® 488, APC, biotin, FITC, PE, Pacific Blue™, and unconjugated, with demonstrated flow cytometry data on C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes across these formats. Additional documented applications include CyTOF, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, immunoprecipitation, and Western blot.
