Anti-Ms CD19, 1D3, UC, 500µg

A rat monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies that reacts with mouse CD19, an approximately 95 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of B cells throughout all stages of development, from early pre-B cells to plasma cells. Expression is down-regulated but persists in terminally differentiated plasma cells, and CD19 is also found on follicular dendritic cells. By associating with CD21 and CD81, CD19 functions as a co-receptor for the B cell receptor and is involved in B cell activation and differentiation.

Clone 1D3 recognizes the same epitope as clone 6D5 in cross-competition assays. The antibody is of the IgG2a, kappa isotype and is available in unconjugated form as well as conjugated to APC, biotin, FITC, PE, and PerCP-Cy5.5. It is suited to flow cytometry and to applications including functional assays, immunocytochemistry, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, and immunoprecipitation. It is also referenced as a lineage-specific marker in workflows for the immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse B cells and pan-B cells, and for assessing dendritic cell preparations alongside other anti-mouse antibodies.
