Anti-Ms CD19, 1D3, PS, 25µg

Rat monoclonal IgG2a, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, Clone 1D3, conjugated to PerCP-Cy5.5, reacts with mouse CD19, an ~95 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on the surface of B cells throughout all stages of development, from early pre-B cells to plasma cells. Expression is down-regulated but persists in terminally differentiated plasma cells, and CD19 is also found on follicular dendritic cells. By associating with CD21 and CD81, CD19 functions as a co-receptor for the B cell receptor and is involved in B cell activation and differentiation; mutations in CD19 can result in severe immunodeficiency syndromes. Clone 1D3 recognizes the same epitope as clone 6D5 in cross-competition assays.

The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PerCP-Cy5.5 under optimal conditions, and the solution is free of unconjugated PerCP-Cy5.5. It is provided at 0.2 mg/mL in a phosphate-buffered solution, pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin, and was raised against a recombinant mouse CD19-transfected cell line. Flow cytometry is the verified application, and the clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep kits, including the EasySep Mouse B Cell Isolation Kit. The product is stable at 2 - 8 °C when stored undiluted; do not freeze, and protect from prolonged exposure to light. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.125 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL, and titration is recommended for optimal performance in each application.
