Anti-Ms CD150, TC15-12F12.2, BT, 25µg

This rat monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies targets mouse CD150 (also known as SLAM or IPO-3), an approximately 75 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein that serves as a cell adhesion molecule and co-receptor in the immune response. The reagent is biotin-conjugated, of IgG2a isotype, and produced in the LEW rat strain using the TC15-12F12.2 clone; the immunogen is a mouse SLAM-human IgG1 fusion protein (Gene ID 27218).

CD150 is differentially expressed by T cells, immature thymocytes, B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, and endothelial cells, with expression rapidly induced upon activation of T cells, B cells, and dendritic cells. It is synthesized by T cells on Th1 but not Th2 clones, and engagement of CD150 co-stimulates TCR-activated T cells, enhancing IFN-γ production by Th1 cells — a response augmented by binding of this antibody. CD150 is also a useful marker, alongside CD48 and CD41, for identifying multipotent hematopoietic stem cells, and is absent from non-multipotent hematopoietic progenitor cells. The antibody is verified for flow cytometry and reported for immunofluorescence microscopy and immunohistochemistry.

Supplied as a liquid, the product is formulated in phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide, purified by affinity chromatography, and free of unconjugated biotin. It is stable at 2–8 °C when stored undiluted and should not be frozen. For flow cytometry, the manufacturer suggests ≤ 0.25 μg per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 μL, with titration recommended for optimal performance for each application. The product is supplied for research use only under a quality management system certified to ISO 13485.
