Anti-Ms CD138, 281-2, BT, 50µg

A rat monoclonal IgG2a antibody targeting mouse CD138 (Syndecan-1), supplied by STEMCELL Technologies under the clone designation 281-2. CD138 (Syndecan-1) is expressed by immature B cells and by normal and malignant plasma cells, and the clone has been verified for flow cytometry.

Representative flow cytometry data from the manufacturer are provided for the unconjugated, APC-conjugated, biotin-conjugated, and PE-conjugated formats, tested on Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells and on naïve C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes, with the splenocyte stainings performed in combination with anti-mouse CD45R (clone RA3-6B2). The biotin-conjugated reagent is visualised using streptavidin, and matching rat IgG2a, kappa isotype control antibody (clone RTK2758) stainings are shown alongside for each format.

The antibody is positioned by the manufacturer for research workflows including immunomagnetic positive selection of mouse CD19+ cells and immunomagnetic negative isolation of untouched mouse pan-B cells (CD19+, CD19+CD138+, CD138+).
