Anti-Ms CD11c, N418, PE, 25µg

This PE-conjugated monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies targets mouse CD11c, a 150 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein (also known as alphaX integrin, CR4, p150, or integrin alphaX chain) that associates non-covalently with CD18 (β2 integrin) to form a heterodimeric cell surface adhesion receptor. Through interactions with ligands including iC3b, fibrinogen, and CD54, the CD11c/CD18 receptor participates in cell migration, stimulation of cytokine production by monocytes and macrophages, T cell proliferation, leukocyte recruitment, and phagocytosis. In mice, CD11c is expressed on dendritic cells, macrophages, monocytes, granulocytes, NK cells, and a subset of T cells.

The antibody is supplied at 0.2 mg/mL and is a hamster (Armenian) monoclonal of the IgG isotype, clone N418, raised against mouse spleen dendritic cells. It has been verified for cell separation (CellSep) and flow cytometry (FC) applications, including purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ Mouse CD11c Positive Selection Kit II. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.25 µg per 1 × 10⁶ cells in 100 µL, with titration recommended for optimal performance in each application.

The product is formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.1% gelatin. The antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions; the solution is free of unconjugated PE. Storage is at 2–8°C undiluted; the product should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. It remains stable until the expiry date printed on the label.
