Anti-Ms CD11c, N418, BT, 500µg

From STEMCELL Technologies, this Anti-Mouse CD11c Antibody, Clone N418, is a biotin-conjugated Armenian hamster monoclonal IgG antibody that reacts with CD11c (also known as alphaX integrin), a 150 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein. The antibody recognizes CD11c in association with CD18 (β2 integrin), forming a heterodimeric cell surface adhesion receptor involved in immune responses through interactions with ligands such as iC3b, fibrinogen, and CD54.

The CD11c/CD18 receptor is implicated in cell migration, stimulation of cytokine production by monocytes and macrophages, T cell proliferation, leukocyte recruitment, and phagocytosis. In mice, CD11c is expressed on dendritic cells, macrophages, monocytes, granulocytes, NK cells, and a subset of T cells. The antibody was raised against mouse spleen dendritic cells and has been verified for cell separation (CellSep) and flow cytometry (FC), with reported applications in flow cytometry (FC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), and immunofluorescence microscopy (IF).

This biotinylated reagent has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including EasySep™ Mouse CD11c Positive Selection Kit II. The antibody is supplied in a phosphate-buffered solution (pH 7.2) containing 0.09% sodium azide, has been purified by affinity chromatography, and is free of unconjugated biotin. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.25 µg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 µL. The product should be stored at 2–8°C without freezing and is intended for research use only.
