Anti-Ms CD11c, N418, BT, 25µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers this biotin-conjugated antibody, raised in Armenian hamster, that specifically recognizes mouse CD11c. The N418 clone binds to a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein which associates with CD18 to form a heterodimeric cell surface adhesion receptor.

The reagent is supplied as a clear liquid intended for use as a laboratory reagent. According to the manufacturer's safety data sheet, the mixture is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the GHS, and no special personal protective equipment is required beyond standard good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Validated flow cytometry data demonstrate staining of C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes when used with streptavidin and counterstains such as anti-mouse CD45 or anti-mouse MHC class II antibodies. The antibody is also listed as part of workflows for immunomagnetic positive selection of mouse CD11c+ cells and immunomagnetic negative selection of untouched mouse plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs) from single-cell suspensions of mouse splenocytes or other tissues.
