Designed for laboratory research use, this biotin-conjugated reagent from STEMCELL Technologies recognises mouse CD11c, a type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that associates with CD18 to form a heterodimeric cell surface adhesion receptor. It is supplied as a clear liquid and is classified as a non-hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).

The antibody, Clone N418, has been validated for flow cytometry analysis of C57BL/6 mouse splenocytes, typically used alongside markers such as CD45 (Clone 30-F11), CD317, or MHC class II, with streptavidin serving as a secondary reagent in the biotin format. It supports workflow stages including immunomagnetic positive selection of mouse CD11c+ cells and immunomagnetic negative selection of untouched mouse plasmacytoid dendritic cells from single-cell suspensions of mouse splenocytes or other tissues.
