Anti-Ms CD11c, N418, AZ, 100µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers this Armenian hamster monoclonal IgG antibody, clone N418, raised against mouse CD11c and supplied in an APC-conjugated format. The antibody reacts with CD11c, also known by the alternative names αX integrin, CR4, integrin αX chain, and p150. CD11c is a 150 kDa type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein that associates non-covalently with CD18 (β2 integrin) to form a heterodimeric cell surface adhesion receptor. Through its interaction with ligands including iC3b, fibrinogen, and CD54, the CD11c/CD18 receptor participates in immune cell functions such as cell migration, stimulation of cytokine production by monocytes and macrophages, T cell proliferation, leukocyte recruitment, and phagocytosis. In mice, CD11c is expressed on dendritic cells, macrophages, monocytes, granulocytes, NK cells, and a subset of T cells.

The immunogen used to generate the N418 clone was mouse spleen dendritic cells, and the antibody has been verified for flow cytometry (FC) applications. The manufacturer indicates that this clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits. According to the product page, the reagent is designed to support research workflows including the immunomagnetic positive selection of mouse CD11c+ cells and the immunomagnetic negative selection of untouched mouse pDCs from single-cell suspensions of mouse splenocytes or other tissues.

The accompanying safety data sheet identifies the antibody as a clear liquid and indicates that it is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture under the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard or the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).
