Anti-Ms CD11b, M1/70, FI, 500µg

STEMCELL Technologies offers a rat monoclonal antibody raised against CD11b, supplied as an FITC conjugate. The reagent was generated using C57BL/10 mouse splenocytes as immunogen and is of the IgG2b, kappa isotype. It recognizes CD11b, an approximately 170 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein that pairs non-covalently with CD18 to form the heterodimeric Mac-1 receptor, which mediates neutrophil and monocyte adhesion to stimulated endothelium and phagocytosis of complement-coated particles.

Reported species reactivity covers human, mouse, rhesus, cynomolgus, baboon, chimpanzee, and rabbit. The antibody is verified for flow cytometry and has been used in fluorescence-activated cell sorting, immunofluorescence, and immunohistochemistry applications. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 0.25 μg per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL, with titration recommended for each application. This clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Mouse Monocyte Isolation Kit.

The product is provided as a clear liquid in phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide, and was purified by affinity chromatography before conjugation. It is stable at 2 – 8 °C when stored undiluted; the manufacturer advises against freezing and recommends protection from prolonged exposure to light.
