Anti-Hu TRA-1-60, TRA-1-60R, PE, 100t

From STEMCELL Technologies, this mouse monoclonal IgM antibody (clone TRA-1-60R) is conjugated to PE (phycoerythrin) and targets the TRA-1-60 antigen, also known as podocalyxin, with reactivity to human, rhesus, and rabbit cells. TRA-1-60 is a > 200 kDa pluripotent stem cell–specific surface protein expressed on undifferentiated human embryonic stem (ES), induced pluripotent stem (iPS), embryonal carcinoma (EC), and embryonic germ (EG) cells, as well as on rhesus monkey ES cell lines. The TRA-1-60R epitope, which is lost upon cell differentiation, contains sialic acid and is associated with podocalyxin, and is resistant to neuraminidase treatment. The antibody has been verified for cell separation (CellSep), flow cytometry (FC), immunocytochemistry (ICC), and immunofluorescence microscopy (IF).

The product is supplied as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin, with suggested uses of 5 μL per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL for FC and a 100X dilution for ICC/IF. The clone has been verified for labeling human ES and iPS cells cultured in TeSR™-E8™, mTeSR™1, and TeSR™2 media, and for purity assessment of cells isolated with EasySep™ kits. Store undiluted at 2 - 8 °C; do not freeze and protect from prolonged exposure to light. Per the manufacturer's Safety Data Sheet, the product is not classified as hazardous under the GHS or the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard.
