Anti-Hu SSEA-5, 8e11, AZ, 25tests

STEMCELL Technologies offers an anti-human SSEA-5 antibody (clone 8e11) in a conjugated format, designed to recognize stage-specific embryonic antigen-5 (SSEA-5). This mouse IgG1, kappa monoclonal antibody is validated for use in flow cytometry and western blotting applications.

Flow cytometry data demonstrate specific labeling of human embryonic stem (ES) cells and human induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells, with HT1080 fibrosarcoma cells used as a negative control. The reagent is intended for direct fluorescent staining to detect SSEA-5 on human pluripotent stem cells (hESCs/iPSCs). For recommended test volumes, antibody dilution, and specific instrument settings, consult the manufacturer's datasheet. The antibody should be stored refrigerated at 2–8°C and protected from light.
