This FITC-conjugated mouse monoclonal IgG3, kappa antibody from STEMCELL Technologies recognizes stage-specific embryonic antigen-4 (SSEA-4), a glycolipid carbohydrate antigen, and is used for flow cytometry applications.

The antibody reacts with SSEA-4 on the surface of human embryonal carcinoma, embryonic germ, undifferentiated embryonic stem and induced pluripotent stem cells, a subset of mesenchymal stem cells, and rhesus monkey embryonic stem cell lines. The formulation is a clear, phosphate-buffered solution containing sodium azide and bovine serum albumin.
