Anti-Hu MUC1 (CD227), 214D4, UC, 200µg

The STEMCELL Technologies Anti-Human MUC1 (CD227) Antibody, Clone 214D4 is an unconjugated, purified monoclonal antibody that targets the human MUC1 (CD227) glycoprotein. MUC1 (CD227) is expressed by epithelial and hematopoietic cells, and the 214D4 clone is reported to mark epithelial progenitors in normal human mammary tissue.

The reagent is supplied as a mouse monoclonal of the IgG1, kappa isotype and is described as well suited for immunohistochemistry, immunocytochemistry, Western blot and immunoprecipitation when used with appropriate secondary reagents. Highlighted research workflows supported by the product include the culture of human mammospheres and tumorspheres and the culture of human mammary epithelial cells. Flow cytometry analysis of human MCF7 cells labeled with the antibody, followed by a rat anti-mouse IgG1, FITC secondary reagent, has been demonstrated by the manufacturer.
