Anti-Hu CD9, HI9a, UC,100µg

Manufactured by STEMCELL Technologies, this monoclonal antibody (Clone HI9a) binds an extracellular epitope on human CD9, a 24 kDa single-chain type III transmembrane glycoprotein. The reagent is supplied as a clear liquid and is not classified as a hazardous substance or mixture according to the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).

Validation data provided by the manufacturer demonstrate use of the antibody in Western blot analysis of extracellular vesicles (EVs) isolated from mesenchymal stromal cell (MSC)-conditioned medium by size exclusion chromatography, as well as in flow cytometry of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) stimulated with phorbol myristate acetate (PMA) and ionomycin. Detection on PBMCs is shown using a goat anti-mouse IgG1, APC secondary antibody, with an Anti-Dextran antibody (Clone DX1) serving as the isotype control.

The antibody supports research workflows involving the immunomagnetic positive selection of human CD9+ extracellular vesicles from plasma, serum, cell culture conditioned medium, and urine samples.
