Anti-Hu CD73, AD2, AZ, 25tests

Produced by STEMCELL Technologies, this mouse monoclonal IgG1, kappa antibody (clone AD2) targets CD73, a glycosyl phosphatidylinositol-anchored glycoprotein and ecto-5'-nucleotidase expressed on subsets of B and T cells, follicular dendritic cells, mesenchymal stem cells, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells. The antibody is conjugated to APC and was purified by affinity chromatography. CD73 forms a homodimer of ~70 kDa subunits and catalyzes the hydrolysis of 5'-adenosine monophosphate (AMP) to adenosine, regulating extracellular adenosine levels and P1 adenosine receptor activation. It functions as a co-signaling molecule on T cells and as an adhesion molecule, and serves as a marker for lymphocyte differentiation and for identifying undifferentiated mesenchymal stem cells.

The antibody is reported to react with Human, Rhesus, Chimpanzee, and Pig-tailed macaque samples. Flow cytometry (FC) is the verified application; reported applications also include immunofluorescence microscopy (IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). The product is supplied in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin. For flow cytometry, the suggested use is ≤ 5 µL per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 µL volume. Store undiluted at 2 – 8 °C; do not freeze, and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
