Anti-Hu CD66b, G10F5, PE, 25tests

A PE-conjugated mouse monoclonal antibody from STEMCELL Technologies, Clone G10F5, is offered for use in flow cytometry applications. The antibody is of the IgM, kappa isotype and was raised against human granulocytes.

It targets CD66b, a single-chain glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked glycoprotein of approximately 95 kDa expressed by neutrophilic and eosinophilic granulocytes. CD66b is also referred to as CD67, CEACAM8, CGM6, NCA-95, or carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 8 and belongs to the CEA-like subfamily of the immunoglobulin superfamily, containing two Ig-like C2-type domains and one Ig-like V-type domain. The antibody is reactive with human and chimpanzee samples. According to the safety documentation, the preparation is a clear liquid that is not classified as hazardous under the 2012 OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) or the Globally Harmonized System (GHS).

The product is supplied in a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2 containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin, and was purified by affinity chromatography before conjugation; the solution is free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. The suggested use for flow cytometry is 5 μL per 1 x 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume or per 100 μL of whole blood, with titration recommended for optimal performance. Store undiluted at 2 - 8°C; do not freeze and protect from prolonged exposure to light.
