Anti-Hu CD66b, G10F5, PE, 100tests

STEMCELL Technologies supplies the Anti-Human CD66b Antibody, Clone G10F5, PE, a mouse monoclonal IgM, kappa antibody conjugated with the PE fluorophore. It recognizes CD66b (previously denoted CD67), an approximately 95 kDa single-chain glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked glycoprotein expressed by neutrophilic and eosinophilic granulocytes. CD66b belongs to the carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA)-like subfamily of the immunoglobulin superfamily and contains two Ig-like C2-type domains and one Ig-like V-type domain. In neutrophils, CD66b is found both within cytoplasmic granules and on the plasma membrane, with surface expression rising upon granulocyte activation, and it is thought to function as a signaling receptor that mediates cell adhesion, phagocytosis, and chemotaxis by regulating granulocyte adhesion to proteins including CD66c, galectin-3, fibronectin, and E-selectin. The antibody reacts with human and chimpanzee CD66b and is verified for flow cytometry (FC).

For flow cytometry, the suggested use is 5 μL per 1 × 10^6 cells in 100 μL volume, or per 100 μL of whole blood; titration is recommended to optimize performance for each application. The clone has been verified for purity assessments of cells isolated with several EasySep™ kits, including the EasySep™ Human Myeloid Positive Selection Kit, the EasySep™ Human Whole Blood CD66b Positive Selection Kit, the EasySep™ HLA Whole Blood CD15 Positive Selection Kit, and the EasySep™ HLA Whole Blood CD33 Positive Selection Kit. It is supplied as a phosphate-buffered solution at pH 7.2, containing 0.09% sodium azide and 0.2% (w/v) bovine serum albumin. The antibody is purified by affinity chromatography and conjugated with PE under optimal conditions, with the solution free of unconjugated PE and unconjugated antibody. The product is stable at 2 - 8°C when stored undiluted; it should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light.
